Chief Ken Ball
 Chief Ball joined the Marietta Police Department in July of 1976. He commanded the Uniform Patrol Services Division until his retirement as Deputy Chief of Police in March of 2005. He served Marietta proudly in every division and on all three shifts, the STEP Unit, Stake-Out Unit, Motorcycle Unit, Investigations, and the Honor Guard. He Commanded the Marietta-Cobb D.U.I. Task Force for 3 years. On April 3, 2005 he was sworn in as the Chief of Police of the Holly Springs Police Department. He currently leads the agency of 23 sworn police officers. Chief Ball prides bringing new advances in technology and law enforcement initiatives into the arena of the Holly Springs Police Department.
Chief Ball has a Masters Degree in Public Administration at Columbia-Southern University. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Southwest University and is a graduate of the 95th Administrative Officers Course at the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, in Kentucky. He is a graduate of the Professional Management Program from Columbus State University and the Dale Carnegie Leadership Course. He is an active member of International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, and many other notable Police Associations.
