Captain Dolly McMahan
Hi, my name is Dolly McMahan. I am currently a captain assigned to the Field Operations Division as the Division Commander. As such, I am directly responsible both administratively and operationally for all training, investigative and patrol functions which include, but are not limited to, responses to calls for service, traffic enforcement to ensure the safety and welfare of our motoring public, coordination and implementation of the T.R.A.C.E. program, the training of all personnel and the daily management required for seeing that our functions meet the standards of excellence our citizens deserve. I have eighteen years of experience in the law enforcement profession and have spent eight of those with the City of Holly Springs. During my career I have served in the capacity of patrol, investigations, supervision, training and certification, internal affairs, and administration and management. I have spent both my childhood and the majority of my adult life in this fair city and am proud to continue to serve those I have always known as well as those we have welcomed to our community over the years. My husband, Tony, is a Captain with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office. We have three grown children. Favorite Quotes: “The purpose in fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and the skill more important than either. Our most effective weapon is our brain…all else is supplement.” Unknown Author
